What is a PINPAY SoftCard?
It is an electronic prepaid PIN debit card. The cardholder can purchase products and services at online stores, retail stores and businesses with the convenience plus the security of a secret PIN code. At participating merchants a cardholder can load cash on to a card; withdraw cash from a card, transfer funds to a cardholder, plus pay a bill to, and transfer funds to, a PINPAY member merchant.
Can I transfer money often with a PINPAY SoftCard?
Yes, you can transfer money from your SoftCard to another person's SoftCard and also to a PINPAY member merchant. A money transfer is completed worldwide usually within minutes and transfer fees are much lower than conventional money transfer services.You can also transfer money from a SoftCard to an authorized prepaid ATM debit card and from an authorized prepaid debit card to a SoftCard.
Who can have and use a PINPAY SoftCard?
Anyone can hold a SoftCard that has the knowledge and skill to use a prepaid debit card.
There are no age limits on the ownership of a SoftCard.
How does one obtain a SoftCard and is the card really Fee FREE?
Yes, the card is FREE. There are no setup fees, no monthly fees and no annual fees. To
obtain a SoftCard simply complete the online application form. Upon approval of your application you will receive your SoftCard account number, account user name and card account access password. You will also select your private, secure PIN code. Write down your card number or printout your card and carry it with you. Memorize or securely store your PIN code and your card account password.
How do I make a purchase at an online mall or store?
At the merchant's online store checkout page enter your SoftCard number and select the "PINPAY" button payment option. Soon an information window will appear. Complete any additional information requested and click on submit. Thereafter a pin-pad will appear. Check the amount shown in the window for correctness and enter your PIN code on the pad. After you have entered your PIN code, select submit. Your transaction payment request is then processed and approved or rejected for the reasons indicated. To submit your PIN code your computer must allow access to the secure pin-pad software. If the computer you are using has never previously accepted the pin-pad software, you will need to click on the install PINPAY button. This install is very quick and is only required to be performed once.
How do I make an online transfer of money or remittance to a family member or friend?
Assist your family members or friens in obtaining a free SoftCard, therafter log-in to your SoftCard account at www.softcard.biz. One of the services available is the transfer of money from one SoftCard to another SoftCard. To select that option, enter the required information and click on submit. Subject to transfer limits and some restrictions, you may transfer money to anyone with a SoftCard. The transfer is usually completed in minutes.
Can I go online and pay a bill to a merchant and how is that done?
Yes, you can pay a bill online at any time. Log-in to your SoftCard account at www.softcard.biz and you can make a payment to any merchant, business or government agency who is a member of the PINPAY Network. You can also make a transfer to anyone who has a SoftCard.
Can I view the transactions and balance in my SoftCard account?
Yes, you can view your card activities and account balances at any time by logging into your SoftCard account at www.softcard.biz. You can download your account data at anytime.
How do I add money to my SoftCard or "load" my SoftCard?
There are a number of ways to add money to your SoftCard. You can visit one of the many stores that offer PINPAY card loading services. These stores typically offer clerk assisted cash card loading, cash withdrawal, bill pay, money transfers, and assisted card-to-card transfer services.
Also an employer, merchant, business, government agency or other entity that is a member of the PINPAY Network can directly load your SoftCard with a money transfer from their PINPAY merchant account to your card. Also, a SoftCard can be loaded by a money transfer from one SoftCard to another SoftCard. Some merchants and government agencies issue various types of stored value cards if they are PINPAY authorized cards they can be used to load a SoftCard.
Can my employer load my SoftCard?
Yes, your employer can join the PINPAY Network and make money transfer from his merchant account directly to your SoftCard. Your employer can also obtain his own SoftCard and perform a SoftCard money transfer to your SoftCard. Your employer can distribute your earnings, bonus, expense reimbursement, travel allowance and other payments directly to your card.
Can a Government Agency direct deposit payments to my SoftCard?
Yes, any government entity, agency or organizations can direct deposit payments to you SoftCard. Any government entity or agency can become a merchant of the PINPAY Network and make a direct money transfer from their merchant account to your SoftCard. The agency can also obtain a SoftCard of there own and perform a SoftCard money transfer to your SoftCard.
Can I use my SoftCard to make regular automatic payments to a party or business?
Yes, you can setup automatic payments to parties and businesses who have a SoftCard or who are merchant member of the PINPAY Network.
How does clerk assisted the card load work?
First, provide the store clerk the card number which you would like to load (add money to). After the information is entered, the clerk's supervisor will approve the transaction. Next, you will be asked to review the transaction to assure it is correct. You will approve the transaction by entering your SoftCard PIN code into a computer.
Normally a merchant will require you to provide cash for a card load; however, some merchants may allow you to use a personal check, a cashier's check, a debit card, credit card, gift card or some other form of payment.
How does a clerk assited bill pay or money transer work?
Provide the clerk information on bill pay or transfer money. After the information is entered into the electronic form, the clerk's supervisor will approve the transaction. Next, you will be asked to review the transaction to assure it is correct. You will approve the transaction by entering your SoftCard PIN code.
Can I setup or change Automated Payments from my SoftCard account?
Yes, you can establish regularly scheduled payments to be made from your SoftCard
account. Simply log-in to your account and complete the scheduled payment form. The form allows you to setup a payment to stop an automated payment or change the payment schedule.
What if my SoftCard Number is Compromised or Stolen?
If your PIN code was potentially compromised or stolen, immediately go to your SoftCard account web page at www.pinpaySoftCard.biz and promptly change your password and your PIN code. Any payment, funds transfer transactions or other activities using the card, before you enter your card account and complete the necessary password and PIN code change over, will reduce the remaining available account balance on your card account. After you have changed the password and PIN code on your existing card account, go to www.pinpaySoftCard.biz and obtain a "new" second card. Once you have obtained your second SoftCard, perform a card-to-card transfer of all of your funds on the existing, "first" SoftCard to the new, "second" SoftCard. Thereafter, stop using the existing first card and begin only using the new, second card.
What if my Password is Compromised or Stolen?
If your password was potentially compromised or stolen, immediately go to your SoftCard account web page at www.pinpaySoftCard.biz and promptly change your password and your PIN code. Any payment, funds transfer transactions or other activities using the card, before you enter your card account and complete the necessary password and PIN code change over, will reduce the remaining available account balance on your card account.

After you receive your SoftCard number, it is recommended you go to www.softcard.biz and obtain a new "second" card. Once you obtain a new, second card, perform a card to card transfer of all of your funds on your existing, "first" SoftCard to the new, "second" SoftCard and stop using the existing, "first" card and begin only using the new card.
What if my Password is Lost or Forgotten?
If your SoftCard account access password was lost or forgotten you can not gain access to you SoftCard account. Therefore, you must send an email to technicalsupport@softcard.com.You will be required to provide correct answers to personal questions prior to being provided with your SoftCard account access password. After you receive your account access password, it is recommended you go to www.softcard.biz and obtain a new "second," card. What if my PIN Code is Lost or Forgotten?

Once you obtain a new, second card, perform a card to card transfer of all of your funds on your existing, "first" SoftCard to the new, "second" SoftCard and stop using the existing, "first" card and begin only using the new card.
